Ibis Styles Basel City Hotel

I had a comfortable stay at Ibis Styles. The spacious room with tables and a chair allowed me to work comfortably. The lobby area was well maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. the free hot drinks and morning croissants in the lobby were a nice surprise. The complimentary travel card for Basel Transport was a great bonus, making it convenient to explore the city.

The hotel had a straightforward and efficient check-in/check-out process. The staff had a no-nonsense attitude and were helpful. The rooms were superb and the breakfast spread was decent for European standards. The location was convenient, as it was close to a tram station that easily took us to the city center. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the decent breakfast options and the fact that the hotel gave us a free day pass for public transportation.

Conveniently situated near highway, easy access to public transportation. Modern design with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff and easy check-in/check-out. Free coffee provided at entrance. Overall a great place for a stopover and I would definitely return.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, with easy access to local free transport. It is also right in front of the railway, making it a convenient choice for travelers arriving by train. The cleanliness of the hotel is perfect, with the rooms being new and very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even preparing a breakfast for us to take away at 3 am. The breakfast itself was delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding - I couldn't believe how affordable it was for such a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always on hand to help with any questions or needs. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a really comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the room temperature was perfect thanks to the efficient heating system. And of course, the breakfast included in the price was the cherry on top - so many delicious options to choose from.

No chairs provided in the room, but it wasn't a big issue.

The drinks area downstairs is a great spot to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe area, ensuring a peaceful stay.

The breakfast lacked variety and became repetitive after a few days.
